Weber blue dog 5e3. I installed the Bluedog in a Stage Right 15 watt 12” tube combo and right away noticed a more musical, natural tone. With 14 watts of all tube power, the SA14 is a great choice for the studio, rehearsal, small live venue, or mic’d up on the big stage. The Weber needed broken in but it sounded thinner and more nasel than my Jensen RI. I've got two 5E3 clones, and I have ran them through a 15" Weber Blue Dog. * The Weber Blue Dog - Alnico, 50wts, 8ohms * Eminence Red Fang - Alnico, recently re-rated to 50wts (per Eminence), 8 ohms I tried a blue and a greenback in my 5e3 but ultimately went back to the Weber 12a125a that I originally built the amp with after I tweaked the amps low end a bit. .
